Kyle reaches out to Tamworth Police

Lib Dem Campaigner from Wilnecote, Kyle Brown writes:

I have contacted Staffordshire Police about the increase in crime in the Wilnecote ward as crime has been increasing here in Wilnecote for ages (especially burglaries and bike/e-bike related crimes). I wanted to see what our local police force was doing to help local residents feel safe in Wilnecote but also across the wider Tamworth borough. 

When I reached out to our local police force they have told me that they are treating the increase in crime (especially bike-related crimes and burglaries) as a priority and they have made arrests where necessary. The one thing they said residents could do is to remain vigilant so please if you see any crimes occur call 999 immediately.

I know this is a concern for residents and I will keep in touch with the police and I look forward to working with them in the future.
