“Let’s make our roads safe!” – Morag Maclean takes on traffic
Morag Maclean says, “In my campaigning around the ward, residents have expressed their concerns to me about the difficulty in crossing New Road to get to the shops.
“Cars come through at high speed, and it is indeed very difficult for some residents to cross safely, as I have have experienced for myself.
“If I am elected as councillor, I will do all that is possible to ensure that cars and other vehicles are slowed to a safe speed while going through the villages, and that there are safe crossing places where they are needed.
“I will be helped in this by my seven Lib Dem colleagues on the District Council, and look forward to working with them, and with other parties as necessary.”
Morag Maclean is the Liberal Democrat candidate in the Armitage with Handsacre by-election on Thursday December 11.
